Congratulations on reaching out for help! Life can be messy. We’re not meant to navigate all of its complexities on our own. I offer compassionate and encouraging Christ centered wisdom as I come along side you to help support you as you face the challenges in your life. I am a Christian therapist who is also a wife, a pastor, and a mom of four kids, including one adopted from China. I look forward to meeting you!

If you are looking for a safe place to share your frustration, your confusion, your stress and your disappointments, I will help you process through your feelings and concerns, your depression and anxiety. Together we can identify your healthy and unhealthy coping skills. Our feelings are not always accurate sources of truth. It is life-giving to explore and reframe any feelings that are holding you back. It is my privilege to help clients find more acceptance and forgiveness in Christ. I have helped clients navigate through individual challenges, depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, communication difficulties, marital and parenting problems and spiritual concerns. I have also helped families as they learn to listen, empathize and cooperate toward mutual goals. I can help you learn productive communication skills and conflict resolution strategies. If you are facing obstacles in your relationships, I can help you identify and work toward empathy, changes and acceptance. It is not uncommon to get pulled into bad habits of enabling others, or going through life as a victim. I will help you find your voice, assert yourself, and learn to live in more victory in Christ.

In addition, I enjoy supporting families through the adoption process, and the unique challenges that come with it. Adoption can be a daunting and draining journey. It is helpful to have realistic expectations when embarking on this special calling. The adoption process can bring up anger, grief, and old wounds. It is helpful to process those deep feelings with an experienced professional in order to find more healing and resolution.

I also have extensive experience with church/ministry dynamics, and can help clients with issues in these ministry settings. Learning healthy self-care and practicing good boundaries are important habits in order to flourish in full-time ministry. I can help you advocate for your own needs, as you serve and care for others.

It is my deep honor to journey with you, as a fellow life traveler. We are all in need of grace, support and understanding. It is my goal to offer you a few more tools to help you thrive in your unique life story. Some issues just need a short-term adjustment, while other are better addressed through long-term counseling.
